Planetary Health / GeoHealth Annual Meeting

Why the Thawing Arctic Matters, and How To Communicate It

This talk (12:00-1:30 p.m.) with Eli Kintisch, an award-winning correspondent for Science Magazine, is hosted by the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting and the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication Campus Consortium Partnership in New Haven, CT. Kintisch will explore the Arctic's history and modern unraveling through photos, video footage and tales of Arctic inhabitants, explorers and scientists, and also discuss the challenge of reaching audiences on climate change using stories from the Arctic.
