So, the Knight Center’s Journalism Courses program is about to start a series of initiatives to help journalists understand the impact of generative AI on the news industry, as well as the opportunities and threats it creates.

Our webinar is moderated by Marc Lavallee, director of technology product and strategy for journalism at the Knight Foundation, who will be joined by Aimee Rinehart, senior product manager of AI strategy for the Associated Press’ Local News AI initiative; and Sil Hamilton, a machine learning engineer and AI researcher-in-residence at the journalism organization Hacks/Hackers.
