NOAA Provides Quick Access to Tornado Information

May 11, 2011

April 2011 was a record-setting month for the number of US tornadoes, more than doubling the previous April record (in 1974), and more than 10% higher than the previous record for any month (May 2003). May is typically the peak month for the nasty twisters, so if the April 2011 pattern continues, you may benefit from a visit to NOAA’s tornado site that provides details on breaking and recent developments, along with big-picture perspective.
