Police Hunt Suspects After 8 Wolves Poisoned in Oregon

"At least eight wolves were fatally poisoned in eastern Oregon earlier this year, and Oregon State Police investigators are hoping the public will help apprehend the culprits.

Officials with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife notified state troopers in early February that a wolf in Union County, which had been fitted with a tracking collar, was no longer moving.

Investigators who went to the location near Mount Harris, about 10 miles northeast of La Grande, found the entirety of the Catherine Pack, three males and two females, dead."
