UPLOADING FILES, SUPPLYING LINKS: Upload low-resolution PDF or radio MP3 files (20MB max each), or paste links to your stories. IF LINKS ARE VERY LONG, PLEASE SHORTEN. Use only links that will not expire in 2016. If you are unable to upload files or paste links, prepare four hard copies of your stories according to SEJ Awards preparation rules

BROADCAST TRANSCRIPTS: Each radio, television and audio/video component of a website must include a complete transcript. Upload a separate PDF transcript for each broadcast story you enter.

PAYMENT: When the form is complete, you will be redirected to a secure payment site where you can pay instantly by credit card or opt to send SEJ a check. Your entry will not be considered until payment is received. Please pay your fee as soon as you complete the entry form.

"U.S. Restricts Movement of Salamanders, for Their Own Good"

"The Fish and Wildlife Service is barring the door against 201 species of salamanders, making it illegal to import them or move them across state lines, the agency announced on Tuesday. Scientists hope the ban will help prevent a devastating outbreak from driving native salamander species extinct."
