"EPA Taps 10 Environmental Justice Panel Members to Advise Agency"

"The Environmental Protection Agency has named 10 new members to the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council, which has advised the agency on environmental equity issues since the 1990s.

The new members—selected from academia, community and environmental groups, and state, local, and tribal governments—are joining a panel launched during the Clinton administration.

But the group is getting new attention from the Biden administration as it pushes efforts to reduce environmental inequities and pollution disproportionately impacting low-income and other vulnerable populations."
