NEA Press Conference: Tracking SMR Progress Around the World

The NEA Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Dashboard tracks the development of SMR technologies around the world and assesses their progress in the areas of licensing, siting, financing, supply chain readiness, engagement and fuel availability.

The Agency will launch the NEA SMR Digital Dashboard during an online press conference on 16 July 2025. This digital, interactive platform will enable continuous data collection and more frequent updates to SMR assessments to provide near real-time evidence-based analysis to policymakers, media and the public.

The press conference will provide an exclusive opportunity to learn about the latest global status of SMR development ahead of the publication of the NEA SMR Dashboard: Third Edition scheduled later in July.
