NAJA 2022 National Native Media Conference

The Native American Journalists Association will host the National Native Media Conference Aug. 25-27, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. Special events and programs will also be hosted at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

NAJA will facilitate conference program sessions about best practices in Indigenous media, training and workshops to support and enhance the knowledge and skills of journalists covering Turtle Island. The conference program will feature Indigenous media professional development and address evolving COVID-19 coverage and best practices through training and workshops to support journalists covering Indigenous communities.

Registration for the 2022 National Native Media Conference is now open for attendees and exhibitors. Early bird rates are available through June 1. General attendee rates can be viewed on the registration site through the link below and exhibitor rates are available by requesting a sponsorship guide from: scosper@naja.com.

Attendees will be required to upload vaccine verification at registration.

NAJA will also offer content on-demand to members and attendees through a custom virtual event platform after the conference.
